A modern version of oedipus King
A detailed Summary of A modern version of oedipus King
It was a great indian tribe with honorable blood generations of chiefs, all of them devoted to a righteousness way of life and more important, devoted to lead their people in a correct way full of justice and equality.
It was so that for many decades members of the tribe admired their chiefs very much, realizing they were lucky for having such good leaders. In addition to these feelings, this admiration was fed by the prophecies of many of the tribe's wizards that lived ever since the creation of the tribe. All the prophecies made by the wizards depicted many generations to come full of joy, justice, and equality, which were signs of a very long lasting era of peace for the tribe. But on the other hand all the prophecies agreed in one thing: since there is no complete perfection in the world a time would come when all the decades of peace and joy would come to a stop bringing a cold blooded leader full of greed and hate that would bring the tribe close to its end through the violence of his soul. This would not be the end thou, because some time after his death his own son would be sacrificed and consumed by sadness in order to end the dark era of his fathers ruling. He would marry his mother and kill his father, without knowing

The wizard left but not without causing many doubts in the chief's head, doubts he lately confessed to his wife. He explained her the way a stranger approached him in his tribe and told him that he was destined to kill his father and marry his own mother, causing him to leave the tribe. On the other side Wondering Feather tried t calm him and told that it would be a good idea to see if his father was still alive, he agreed and sent someone to find it out.
So it came the day when a different kind of chief began to rule the tribe. This leader's name was Wind of Rage and he had a completely different way of thinking he was filled with dreams of conquest and brought long years of war to the tribe, staining the sacred land of peace with tons of blood from enemies and every other person who disagreed with him. After conquering many tribes the chief got married and after a while a son came to his life. He was very happy for it and by the time the baby reached 6 months a very
Finally the chief lost his temper and told the warrior to either tell the truth or die, because it was pretty obvious that he was lying. Scared as he was the warrior started to cry and finally confessed that he couldn't kill the child so he gave it to a servant in the tribe Black Hawk came from. After hearing these words Black Hawk petrified and left, he realized that he was the chosen one to fulfill the prophecy, he was destroyed. He didn't know what to do, his suffering was so big that no one would be able to describe it. It wasn't the end thou, when he got home he saw Wandering Feather lying in the floor killed by her own hands. In that moment Black Hawk couldn't take it anymore and blinded himself with the same knife that his mother and wife used to kill herself.
She started thinking a lot about the matter and decided that it would be wiser and safer to stop searching for the truth. But despite how hard she tried she couldn't convince her husband. Ultimately in his desperation Black Hawk asked to see the warrior who was ordered to kill Wind of Rage's child and sent a few servants to bring the warrior to his presence.
The following day Black Hawk announced to the tribe that he was leaving for everybody's sake. He was leaving to suffer and die somewhere else, taking the tribe's sickness with him. So he did, he left the tribe leaving a very confused tribe. Confused because everybody saw him as a very good leader but at the same time they saw as the rot of all
