Carly

All heads turned when she walked into the room. Every pair of eyes were laid upon the beautiful lady. Her name was Carly. A big smile flashed across her face. And she acted as if she didn't know what all the fuss was out. That's how Carly was. She didn't know how charming, sweet, and gorgeous she was. Every guy in town, however, did.

The guys would often fight over her, in many different ways. For example, suppose they decided an arm-wrestling match would determine who got to escort her across the street or a 'who could drink the most shots' contest to ask her out on a date. Carly was always very flattered, and the lucky guy was grinning from ear to ear.

One day, when they were putting all their heads together to come up with the next competition (Carly was due to be in town soon, and a door opener was up for grabs) when there was a not so friendly confrontation. "We could do that quarter game. You know, you bounce the quarter and try to make it into the beer can," said one guy.

"That's got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard!" shouted the big guy in the back. "You outta be knocked out for an idea like that. We're talking about Carly here... no more none sense!"

She thought about this for a moment. Should she put herself on the line like this? Was it worth it? Would it make the fighting stop? Would more fights start up because of this? She knew what she had to do. "Yes, Terry, I will be the reward."

All of the guys in the town gathered in front of Carly's house. There was a lot of conversations, congratulations, and more confrontations. But when the door opened, and Carly walked out, all was silent. "Thank you everyone for showing up, and working so hard this past week, for something so silly, me. I will now gladly see my presents. Please, line up here."

"To win me? What's that all about?" Carly was border lining an outrage or a laugh. So Keith began to tell her what happened, and Carly listened, completely unaware of the feelings these guys held for her. That's when she suggested one final competition. It had to be something big, something challenging, and something worthy of Carly herself. "Ok, I've got it! Each of you will make me something. And not just anything, build it your own ideas and hands. I will take each present into a deep consideration, and the one that touches me the most will be rewarded to the guy who made it."

"Zachary this is so wonderful! Thank you so very much! You will be gratefully rewarded in full, and I am yours to wed." With that said, the guys all cheered for their fellow competitor and followed Carly and Zach to her backyard, where they were married right then and there. It's funny how the love of a lady was how it all started. We use cars more then ever today, everyone has one, and no one really knew why... until now.

tall. "Yes I was! Do you gotta problem with that?"

"It's you Carly, we all want to escort you, be your man. There was an argument on how to win you today, and it got out of hand."

So that was that. All the guys in town wishing to be C
