Chapter 11 starts with Odysseus and his comrades in the city of the Cimmerians. Here Eirce tells them to sacrifice the lambs for their blood to go to Hades. After the dead people drink the blood they can speak to Odysseus. In particular some of these people are: Elpenor, his mother - Anticleia, Theban Teiresias, Agamnon.
