What is terrorism? Although terrorism has been around since the dawn of time, its meaning has intensified over the past century. Terrorism is widespread all over the world, including the United States. Terrorism can occur in many different forms and usually occurs when one ethnic group is offended by another ethnic group. Each terrorist organization is broken down into different cells. These cells have no contact with each other, just the leaders of the terrorist organization. The common stereotype of a terrorist in the United States is unacceptable, while in other countries parents are pleased if their kids become terrorists. There are multiple cells that are all over the world. By definition, terrorism is the unlawful use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or government, often for ideological or political reasons.
