Confucius - the greatest philosopher of all time

Confucius, a great philosopher of all time, was very big on ethics and the proper management of society. His ethics were basically just all based around rules, results, and relationships. He wanted things to be set around his morals. His teachings, still exist today, as society try to apply that to everyday life. The truth and importance of his words are still important to this day, because Confucius' teachings developed in reaction to the times in which he lived - and our times are very much like his. Because according to writings of the era, the days in which Confucius lived were, compared to the past, a time of moral chaos, just like today, we compare to the olden days and say how corrupted the world is now. For example, the government had many problems, crime was on the rise, and murder back then was becoming a serious problem, and it still is. And the line between rich and poor was very disti


He believed that the world was full of chaos because they didn't follow his ethics, the ones written in the analects. And that's the situation of today, our society does not take the time to reflect on these believes. We might know how to be like Confucius and the way he wants us all to be like, I mean, everybody wishes to be kind, but it is totally another thing to actually do it. Everyone must have heard the "do not do to others what one does not wish to be done unto" quote, many times, just maybe not in that exact way. But the ones who can really follow it, Confucius believed, are the ones to set this world at peace.

But Confucius had the mindset of having a positive attitude and to always just be true to himself and his morals. He believed that all that was necessary was just to be polite and good. He knew his duty was to hand on the knowledge and methods of the ancients, not to create or
