Emma - The Proposal between Mr Elton and Miss SmithMr Elton 's proposal to Emma takes place during the carriage ride home after visits to Randall. Both Mr Elton and Emma are very angry, there is no much time for embracement. When they both arrived home, because of Emma refuses Mr Elton 's proposal, it seems that Mr Elton is more anger than Emma by the way he talks to her, ' he was too angry to say another word ...her manner too decided to invite supplication....Emma then felt it indispensable to wish him goodnight.
