Being an American

Being an American can mean many different things to many different people. To some it might mean that they have to be a patriot or be able to shoe their individualism. To others it may just mean to be loyal to your country. Over the year we have studied many different ideas that go along with what it means to be an American. Without money people were not able to make payments on their possessions. Many people held protests against the bad times hoping the government would set up programs to help them. No matter how bad the times got the people still had faith that their country would help them.
