"Shit !" A well known sound to Gregory made it hurt in his ears. The alarm rang. Somehow the guards must have observed the hole in the electric fence and figured out what it meant... an intruder had broken into the station. A red light was blinking and the alarm called out the signal for 'Intruder Alert' and the highest state of readiness.Gregory started to breathe heavily and his heart beat so hard it made his chest hurt. He knew that in less than no-time all the guards at the Peenemunde Research Station would be inspecting all the rooms and it might be the end of him. The guards would have their pitbulls ready and would not hesitate for a second to let them loose and let them tear apart everything that came in their way. And if the dogs did not get him, surely the nazis would catch him and bring great pain upon him during their dreadful interrogations. He had to stay calm and figure out a plan considering how to escape from this place. Gregory heard footsteps behind him in the corridor. Without hesitating, and with a silent creak he opened a door not far from where he was standing, and entered the room.
