It has been one year since the attack on the World Trade Center, but it seems like it only happened yesterday. They say you’ll never forget where you were when you first heard the news. I was in my first period class at Donna High School. There were about ten minutes left in class when the teacher in the neighboring classroom came in the door and announced the news. I was surprised but it wasn’t until my next class that I actually realized the magnitude of the event. It was in that class that I saw the images for the first time over the television monitor in our classroom and they are still very fresh in my mind.
