It is more common in our society than people are familiar with it to be and every year as women wait longer to get pregnant its chances increase. A genetic condition called Down syndrome becomes increasingly common as women wait longer to have children. Though the disorder of the 21st chromosome has mild to severe affects on those inflicted, people can still try to live normal lives.
