Who's To Blame for the Broken Doll House?
A detailed Summary of Who's To Blame for the Broken Doll House?
When a problem arises in any situation, it is easy to base one's opinion looking at the problem from the outside to the inside, rather than from the inside out. In the case of "A Doll's House," it is not accurate to place the blame in either Torvald's or Nora's hands. Torvald's overbearing, controlling, and insecure nature develop many problems in his and Nora's marriage. So in the case of the broken doll house neither Torvald nor Nora are to blame for the failure of their marriage. It is due to a lack of love and honesty on both of Torvald and Nora's parts.
Nora is oblivious to the fact that there are consequences for your actions, and that she is a grown woman not a child.
Torvald and Nora entered into marriage promising to love and care for each other as "eq
