Pre-Ap U.S. American History Paper (Revisionism)

What is revisionism? I see it as the way the dominant society ruled. The way things are ruled depends on the morals of those in the dominant place. Though the native Americans were the first to live here, their overall peaceful traditional way of life has almost vanished completely. It has morphed into the European culture. This European culture now regulates 99% of American land. Therefore when I'm talking about American revisionism it will be mostly through the European culture.

The view of the earliest Europeans who came to America was full of apathy of anything the king and queen of their country didn't particularly care for. The rulers of the conquesting countries demanded gold or anything else of great value to be discovered by their feeble, poverty stricken minions (sailors and exploration soldiers). The minority group who were rich or well off( I.E Christopher Columbus) desired not to defy their leaders for the fear of losing his comfortable lifestyle or maybe even his life.. There have been claims that their faith was strong. Evidently due to the actions of the majority of the soldiers this isn't true. Thou shall not kill" yet they very much killed any native that wasn't to their liking. Thou shall not commit adultery,

The natives across the lands had mixed thoughts that seemed to unfortunately tie together to ignorance. Not knowing such an overbearing conflicting culture, one that will "plow up the ground, pull down the trees, kill everything..."( Wintu Woman, 19 century) they had unfortunate ignorant assumptions. Some thought they were gods, others saw them as a threat and attacked learning the hard way, others treated them as equals as if they were just another tribe. Since their value of wealth and land which is very similar to families values, everyone shared. Evidently the Europeans so use to buying everything never quite understood this sharing the natives did. Evidently conflict can about.

yet many of them raped. And when they were tired of their sex toys these poor people were exterminated. The Christian God also says to love thy neighbor (love your fellow human beings) and that all men (and women) are created in the image of him (God). This was blatantly disregarded considering that the early explorers cared about how the natives felt as they cared about how the grass feeling when walked on.

Among the biggest rebellions prior to the civil war was the Anti-Renter movement. Starting in 1839

Communism also took flight and was feared by majority of the American people after WWII. The arms race, space race and the politics battling amongst each other on who is communist or not are great examples.

These stiff requirements and more are the reason there was such mass rebellions that started in the 1800's. There were many casualties in rebellions (90% on the rebels side) and many failed again and again. Due to the fact that the rebels were split up by race, sex and class. The White working class complained that they were seeing injustice by their bosses' low wages and long work hours yet this same working class failed to realized that slavery was even more unjustified labor. The Blacks strived for equality yet they failed to make women as active as men in their rebels. Everyone was concerned about their struggles.

Indians, our government provoked so many battles and gave them so many promises and only kept one. They promised to take their land and they took it. The Native American survivors were mostly given lumps of barren land to farm and "flourish" in a "civilized" manner. The truth is our government wanted more power. Naturally the easiest way to gain more power is to take more rich land.
