Roles in the Social Institutions
There are many aspects in life that affects my dimensions of self-concept and the roles I play in social institutions. My parents’ position in the community, the choice of our beliefs, family stability, and earlier education are some of the experiences that I have encounter that helped me to be the person that I am as of now. I may view a different perspective in life than the person beside me because of my upbringing. The ambiance my parents gave me may not be the same atmosphere the other children were exposed to when they were growing up. These principles in life my parents showered me built my persona.I consider the position of my family in the community as a middle class family. We can buy whatever we need and wants, but we are not necessarily rich either. Being around the social class with my parents and the friends they have takes a lot of work. Growing up my brother and I always have to be in our best behavior and always proper. Being in our best behavior meaning we are not supposed to be disrespectful or unmannered to others.
