If the parent regards a child as a precious loved human being and is shown love and the child feels loved, he or she will more likely than not practice the same thing down the road. If a child is constantly being praised and shown affection, he or she will grow up treating others the same way. If a child is neglected and grows up in an environment where he or she is mistreated, abused and unloved, the child will have a harder time in society dealing with the everyday issues of life.
