A detailed Summary of Abortion


There are different views on the topic of abortion. There are pro-life people that are against it and pro-choice people who are for it. Both views on abortion can be right if presented correctly. In this paper I will state the pro-life view, pro-choice view and my belief about this controversial topic.

One key reason women are able to choose to have an abortion is their constitutional right. All human beings are given some inalienable right guaranteed by the Constitution. One of those privileges is the right to pursue happiness. A baby can sometimes disrupt a woman's pursuit of happiness. Even if she decides to give it up for adoption, she still has the burden of carrying the fetus for nine months. Having the option to perform an abortion can solve that obstacle. Taking away this right would be invading on a woman's constitutional liberty.

Having a child takes money, effort and time. Many women do not have even one of these traits. If abortion was illegal it would force


Religion and the Bible have a lot to do with my beliefs on abortion. Many things are in the Bible about life, murder, and abortion. One thing that the bible makes clear about abortion is that the soul of a child is present at conception. The Bible also says the God is the creator of all life, and that the purpose of human life is to worship our creator. Abortion denies this purpose. It also shows disrespect to God and the things that religion and the Bible teach us. Abortion destroys the life of a human being who will never get the chance to become adopted by God. To anyone who understands religion and the Bible, the best argument against abortion is plainly, God says abortion is wrong.
