Believe in your friends
A detailed Summary of Believe in your friends
"I hate you and I never want to talk to you again!" I yelled.
That was the last sentence I said to my best friend, Joey. I was taking an exam in Vancouver School Board which is the place I met Joey. That was the beginning of our friendship. I was nervous to death because I was in a foreign land with strangers speaking a foreign language that I could not understand. I peeked around, noticed a girl sitting beside me was trembling and sweating. She looked like one of my kind, she was a Chinese too. I was brave enough to start a conversation with her and I realized that she came from Hong Kong. Moreover, she was born one day later then I am. What a coincidence!
After the exam, I thought I would never see her again but maybe we were destined to be friends; we were sent to the same elementary school. Joey and I were supposed to attend different elementary schools. However, both schools were full and there wasn't even one space for an extra student. My heart raced when I saw Joey. I could not believe that she is attending the same elementary school as me. Life was amazing and full of unbelievable surprises that can change your life forever. We automatically started hanging out together at school and after school. We t

We only needed each other because we got all the support, care, attention, and courage from each other. Our relationship was very steady, no one can come between us. We had a very special bond. I knew I can never find another friendship like that in my entire life. I knew I have to treasure our friendship; I have to do everything to protect her and our friendship because she was one of the most important people in my life and will always be one of the most important people in my life. Some people thought we were
I dropped out of school that year. It was too much for me to handle. My grievances still continues today, even today at my prom. I picture Joey standing beside me holding my hand like we always do. I miss her laughter, her voice, her annoying little habits that make her unique. I miss her with all my heart. I should have told her I didn't hate her and I still love her because she will be my best friend forever, no matter what happened. It doesn't matter because our friendship is more important than anything else in the world. She means the most to me but I have let her go. Now, I am all alone in this world, thinking about her everyday and remembering all the time we spent together, all the fun we had.
"Hi, how are you?" he asked in a casual tone.
I slowly walked toward the crowd, pushing people away and trying to get a peek at who was lying on the road. It was only a quick peek but I knew I saw Joey lying on the ground. I aggressively pushed away the people, shouted at them to call the ambulance and give her some air. They were standing around doing nothing, like watching a show. I roared loudly and everyone took a step back. I called out her name, but she didn't respond. I thought she was playing a joke on me but I don't know why my tears just keep rushing out. Joey was unconscious with blood coming out of her head. I was helpless, there was nothing I can do. I just sat beside and kept talking to her hoping she would respond. An ambulance came, carefully holding her head and checking her pulse and everything. I was in the ambulance with her on the way to the emergency room. I waited for two hours, two long hours that seemed like years and years of waiting.
That shattered her heart into pieces, I did it purposely.
