Discipline VS Child Abuse

A cute little child is playing in the park, not even worried about a thing. The child is smiling and running around having fun. But when the child goes home, the child gets yelled at, hit and beaten up by his own parents for no reason. He ends up with bruises, and cuts all around his body crying in pain and fear. Is that something a child deserves? Often parents try hard to raise a well mannered and a well disciplined child. But it?fs a thin line between discipline and child abuse. It?fs okay to spank the child to remind the child what he or she did was wrong, but what about smacking a young child strongly across their face? In our minds, we know that discipline is a strict training or control to enforce obedience and to develop self-control and abuse is to mistreat a person by violence or by using coarse languages. It?fs sad to say, that even though parents know the difference in their heads but at times don?ft know the difference with their hands and feet physically. There are moments today, where child abuse is going on. Children getting hit, getting kicked, getting verbally abused and tortured not only by their father, but also by their mother. It seems as if child abuse doesn?ft seem to be going on to the people

Child abuse is a serious thing and it needs to be stopped or be taken care of. First of all, the government should pass or come up with a law punishing the parents who abuses their child and be more strict on the parents. It is their responsibility of taking care of the child, so they should be the ones to take responsibility for abusing their child and face the consequences. No parents should be able to get away with hurting an innocent child. If the cause of abuse is from stress due to unwanted or teen pregnancies, the parents should take more consideration into protection and maybe think of giving up the child for adoption and really should think things over. Giving the child up for adoption or for foster care is better than having the child stay in an abusive family and go through all the frightening things that no child needs to go through. There should also be counseling for the parents who abuse their children. Have them talk about any specific problems and reasons there are for abusing their child and talk it over with the counselor. Maybe it will help the parents realize their problems and have a better understanding of themselves to why they can be abusive and can also think of ways to resolve their problems. There should be spokespersons, who has an experience in abusing a child and is going through counseling, lecture or have a speech about child abuse and explain the importance and the wrong doing of child abuse and also explain the emotional aspects of it. The spokesperson should walk around their own neighborhood or town and letting everyone know and understand more about child abuse. There should be more hospitals and health cares for the children to help them. There should be enough hospitals for the abused children to go to, in order for then to be taken care of and properly looked after. There should also be more counseling and treatment for the children for their nightmares and other problems they may have from being abused, so they won?ft have anymore problems in the future. There should be also more foster families that would take care of the abused child or a place where the child could stay in other for the child to be away from a violent environment, so the child won?ft be abused. If anyone ever notices or realizes a child is being abused, call 911 and help the child.

Child abuse does not cause only physical pain but can also cause emotional pain for the child. It can even have a negative emotional affect. Majority
