The Attitudes of the Characters in Act2 Scene4 of Henry V
As the battle between England and France draws nearer, the play’s point of view begins to alternate between the English and the French sides, and Act II scene iv is the first scene in the play that the audience gets the French point of view. Although the French are discussing together for the preparation of the war in the scene, there is divergence in each character’s opinion, which shows that there are different attitudes of the character ?the French king, the Dauphin, the Constable and also the Duke of Exeter as an ambassador from England.The French King is an experienced and couscous character in the scene.
