For my business proposal, I have decided to keep it simple by considering a golf range. Being an avid golfer, I know how important it is to have an illustrious range to fire off as many horrible and game winning shots as you can without keeping track of them on a sometimes treacherous scorecard. There will always be a need for ranges, because it is a necessity to all golfers who are looking to improve their game; but nevertheless, improvement comes with a cost. And a cost to them… is a profit to me! By choosing to own a golf range, I know that I will never be the next Bill Gates or Donald Trump, but I will have a lifetime link to the game I have grown to love. It is not always the money that makes people happy, it’s the people. A great example of this is “Carol the lunch lady.“ She tells all the students that she will never be filthy rich, but she has enough money to pay her bills and she’s her own boss, and that is the most important thing to her. Personally, I agree with this. I feel that when you are choosing a business/ career you should ask yourself if you can get up everyday for the rest of your life and be happy about doing it.
