Feeding the Ducks Daily

When I was a little girl I would always walk to the pond after school with a loaf of bread and feed the ducks. Living in near a small pond, I would see thousands of ducks everyday at the pond down the road from my house. The pond was light blue in color, just like the sky on a clear day and the water was so still on the surface. And every now and then you would see ripples arising from below and appearing out of now where a duck bottom would slowly rise to the top. Ducks in Texas where very friendly to people who would come visit then everyday with food and feed them. In fact I was there so much that I even knew what all the ducks looked like and gave them all names.

One day after school I decided to run home and grab two loafs of bread from the kitchen to go feed the thousands of ducks that were gathering around the pond before they migrated for the winter. After a few minutes of my running around screaming and crying, I realized they were still chasing me because I was running with the bread. I decided to drop my two loafs of bread and run to the picnic table and stand until the ducks realized I had no more bread. After a few minutes of standing alone on the picnic table humming songs the ducks left the pond area. I jumped off the table onto the smoky dirt below. I paused and looked around for more ducks, they weren't visible, but you could hear them like there are two inches away. As soon as I heard the ducks again, I started to run all the way back home.

ds or so would blow from the west and would make a whispering sound in my left year. As I neared the pond I could hear all the different levels of quacks coming from the ducks at the pond. Running up a large inclined hill to feed the ducks, I reached the top only to find that instead of having all the usual ducks that are at the pond, their had to been at least a hundred more ducks and twenty geese running around the pond. My eyes dropped threw my body like I was on
