The Hmong are an ethnic group from china. The Hmong loved freedom and flexibility. They normally lived in isolation from the rest of ancient civilization. The Hmong were known then as "Meo" or "Maeo." The Hmong never accept this name because of its bad connotation. It wasn't until the 20th Century that we finally were called Hmong ().

The Homing were thought to have originated from Central China. The Hmong were in constant with the Chinese throughout history. When they were attacked their property was seized; the Hmong were forced to move into the mountain and stage guerrilla tactics to fight back. In the middle of 1800's the Hmong were defeate
