September 11

The morning of September 11, 2002 started like every other morning for me. I got ready for school, and eventually, I was taking World History in Laredo Texas. It was an easy and interesting class, plus the teacher was really understanding. Anyway, we were talking about the Sumerians or something, when suddenly another teacher came running into class and said "Mrs.Wright, a plane just crashed into the Twin Towers!". At first I thought it was just an accident, but when Mrs Wright turned on the TV and I saw what happened, I know immediately that this would go down in history as an infamous day. Both towers had already been hit and both of them were burning fast. About thirty other students came into our classroom to see for themselves, cause the room next to it did not have a TV. Everyone was shocked. I remember it was around 8:30 AM when we saw that, so we got to see the Pentagon crash Live. When that third hijacked plane hit the Pentagon, Mrs.Wright along with other female students seemed very scared. "It's our doomsday people" said one teacher. It was obvious, the panic had started to sink in. After that class we all went to the library to have a closer look at the incident, and there we got to see the tower

American flags are being sold by the dozen, all the while no one cares that the U.S. has killed more than ten times the number of people that died in the WTC crashes, that's what's going on in Afghanistan.

As far as I know, there were 4 hijacked planes, tow of them hit the WTC towers, one of them hit the Pentagon, and the other fialed to meet its destini and crashed in Virginia. None of the hijackers were Afghani, they were all Saudi Arabian. Well, after around an hour, the news started circling all throughout the world, and Usama Bin Laden (it's spelled Usama not Osama) was quickly pointed as the responsible one. Everyone pointed their finger with stupid and infantile arguments such as "They attacked us cause they're jealous of us" without even meditating about the causes and consequences of the attack.

Usama Bin Laden and Al Quaida is just another "boogie man" that the people can hate. Everyone wants him dead; funny that the alleged most advanced country in the world is also the main supporter of the Death Penalty. Afghanistan has become the new Russia; back in the days of the Cold War, Americans were being brainwashed by the media into thinking that all Russians were evil and they were supporters of the devil. The same is happening right before our noses. We are being brainwashed by the media, George W.Bush (one of the worst presidents in the history of the USA, and I have the facts to prove it) is being regarded as a hero, and everyone loves their country more. Sure, love for your country is all fine and dandy, but not when you love it for the wrong reasons. Don't get me wrong, I am in no way supporting terrorism or justifying what happened, I'm just saying that the U.S. has done a lot more damage to these countries than three planes can ever do to them. I am aware of the tragedy that is September 11th, and I do feel sorry for the people who died and their families, but I do not feel one shred of sympathy for the U.S. as a country. Like I said, I cannot support terrorist actions, and the U.S. and George W.Bush are the biggest terrorist around, only they do it hiding behind a desk and deciding t
