Rise and the fall of the Nazis Party
On the 30th of January 1933, Hitler became Chancellor of Germany. This lead to the Nazis party being the only party allowed in the Reichstag, and giving them total control of Germany, without anyone to stop them. Their rise to power was turbulent, from a failed revolution to a modern political campaign. The Nazis was started around about 1919, at first they were called the German worker’s Party. They were unhappy at the government for signing the treaty of Versailles. They wanted to make Germany great again. At first it was only a tiny organisation, the first meeting only attracted 25 people. In September of 1919, a man called Adolf Hitler joined the party. He saw the opportunity to build a mass organisation out of this tiny organisation. He was put in charge of public relations and propaganda.
