A detailed Summary of Letter of Appeal


This letter is a request for late withdrawal from two classes. The classes are:

English Composition I (CRN 11285-English 101) and

Introduction to the Theatre (CRN 10035-THE 135).

I received an "F" in both of these courses because of absenteeism. The absences were due to illnesses. On Tuesday, October 16th I went to the emergency room at Patty A. Clay, at midnight. This was after I was sick for a week and my throat was swelled to the point that I could not breathe well. On Wednesday, October 17th I went to the EKU infirmary. Both places thought I had tonsillitis, gave me antibiotics and recommen
