New York City Descriptive Essay
New York City is the place that I want to visit, revisit, and visit again. Out there on the streets, I feel free. When coming from New Jersey to New York City on the New Jersey Transit tTrain, which is grimy but comfortable, it is an experience unlike I have ever felt before. Crossing under the Hudson River and coming into the crammedjam-packed full station is reminiscent of having some kind of travel machine bringing you from earth to space in a flash. When I visited, I felt akin to doing anything and everything in the city'sies grips. Living in America is a fantastic privilege; living in New York City is something further even better. As you stagger up those stairs to the city streets and you capture that first breath of city air, you declare to yourself, this is Freedom! The buildings are so astonishingly tall and eye-catching. These buildings encompass the most distinctive architecture I have ever seen in my lifetime. I think to myself, there are so many buildings here I find it hard to believe that man is capable of putting them up, but on the other hand alsond knocking them down. New York is the place I want to be. There exists a great deal to experience in just one day of visiting this "Mmother Ccity of America." Instead of dubbing it the "Big Apple," I believe that they should entitle it the "Bbig Ggreen Aapple" because the green apple is odd and different resembling the New York City vibe. New York will change, so will every other place in this small world. I can promise you this however; New York will be the first to do so. If you walk a small number of blocks, you will arrive to a completely new "country,;" Little Italy. Little Italy has the best Italian food you will eat unless you go to Italy. When visiting Little Italy I recommend Luna, an exceptionally respectable restaurant that makes the best pasta dishes. The chef has cooked the pasta to perfection; with the sweet marinara sauce that is ultimately mouth watering. The restaurant is decorated with anthe finest Italian scenermotify.and. The black and while checkered tile floor makes you feel like you are in the Mediterranean.
