A detailed Summary of The Dangers of Drinking

Drinking alcohol is one of the most common ways of life in today's society. In fact, people who do not drink are very few and far between. According to the Issues and Controversies on File, "Alcohol is one of the most consumed beverages in the United States." It is doing nothing but damaging things to this society and to the lives of people. They also say that "forty per cent of all problems brought to family court in the United States...involve alcoholism in some way..." About 6.6 million children under eighteen years of age live in homes with at least one alcoholic parent. Many families can barely afford to put food on the table because alcoholic parents spend so much money on their habit.
