A detailed Summary of Facilitated Communication


My personal thought on facilitated communication is that is a good thing within reason. I

completely understand how many others may feel otherwise, since some facilitators move the

patients hands for them. Before jumping to conclusions a person must think about this situation

from both perspectives, before deciding what they truly believe to be true.

After viewing both video's, I still firmly believe that facilitated communication is a great

discovery for these children. Although the second video made me feel a little questionable about

facilitated communication, I still come to the same conclusion. I felt that everyone in
