An Experience to Remember

Throughout my life I have met many people. Some of them have left a very good impression on me, but some others haven't. Nonetheless, could you have a very clear image of a person you have just met? This is certainly not an easy question; this is the case when first impressions may be deceptive.

It all started about two years ago. I remember that horrible month of August; a sunny day when people were sweating like crazy. It was the first day of the semester back in Mexico so everybody was dressing very tacky. When he saw me standing in front of him he gave me a strange look; his eyes were shining like silver and the nasty smell of sweat was all over him. I gently asked him who he was and he told me with a strong voice that he was the new instructor of the gym.

As a conclusion, first impressions may be deceptive. Most of the times we make assumptions of people we barely now. We must learn to be patient with people we do not like in order to have a better relationship. I have learned that I can't judge a person I have just met. It can take weeks, mon
