A Day Like Any Other Day
“… A day which will live in infamy…”- said President Roosevelt on December 7, 1941 after the the empire of Japan attacked a naval base named Pearl Harbor. I will share with u my opinions on the “sudden and deliberate” attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. As u know, the United States was attacked by terrorists from the middle east. They hijacked 4 commercial airliners and flew them into the Pentagon, World Trade Center Towers, and the fourth was heading toward the White Housee but was taken back by a heroic group of people and then crashed. In the following, I will tell you what happened to me on 9-11-01 and how I was affected. Then I will state my opinion on what its like growing up in a time of war, how the social environment, and all the events that have occurred after and because of those attacks. And finally I will talk about all the memorials and the such.To start with, how my day went on the day of days. I awoke on that fateful day just like I awake on any other, it was the second day of school. I went to school and sat there just like I sit there on any other day. It was boring.
