Bret Hart
The best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be. Bret Hart was an icon of WWF and WCW. He will always be remembered by his fans. Bret came from a large family . Bret and Owen were the only two members of the family who wanted to become wrestling superstars. Also Stu Hart was involved in the wrestling business. He brought up Owen and Bret to become wrestlers. The Stu family were involved in the WWF for the following reason. Bret's father Stu, had a training room, that had everything that a amateur wrestler needed. Weights, wrestling mats, you name it, the room had it all. This room was called "The Dungeon", where many great wrestlers trained like Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, etc. The WWF was interested in this dungeon, it brought the Harts to the WWF. Bret had a normal education where there were no types of advantages or anything like that for Bret just because his father was famous. Bret finished Elementary school, and went to Ernest Manning High School and laboured at a gas plant to pay his tuition at Mount Royal College. To do this he had to take one and a half years off High School. Bret's favourite subject was English. Bret was not yet interested in
The Hart family faced many deaths over the years. Owen Hart had died in 1999, during a live Pay Per View show. At this time Owen was known as the Blue Blazer. He thought that he could get a fan reaction by flying into the ring. But there was a problem. Owen's cable that was supporting him snapped, and he fell more than twenty feet, where his chest hit the turnbuckle and his head hit the steel post. It was said that he died on the spot, which may of happened. Brian Pillman, at a time was part of the HartFoundation, where he would protect Bret and Owen. He was known as a legend but sadly he was born with throat cancer and it later killed him in 1997. And the British Bulldog, Bret's brother in law, died of a heart attack that was caused by stress. Bret was originally from WWF, where he had many fans. I would say that Bret made history in WWF. He never gave up even when the odds are impossible to beat. But like always every wrestler gets shortchanged during their career, and he left WWF forever. Going to the WCW was not a very good idea in my opinion because it seemed that WCW wasted Bret's talents in wrestling. His retiring match was against Kevin Nash, in WCW. There were several of Bret's accomplishments. This is why he was called an icon of WWF. His World Title Accomplishments were: First Time: Beat Ric Flair in Late 1992, Second Time: Beat Yokozuna in MSG New York at WrestleMania 10, Third Time: Beat Diesel at The 1995 Survivor Series, Fourth Time: Beat Steve Austin, Vader, and The Undertaker at The February IYH in a Final Four Way Match, Fifth Time: Beat The Undertaker at SummerSlam 1997. His Intercontinental Title Accomplishments were: First Time: Beat Mr. Perfect at The 1991 SummerSlam, Second Time: Beat Rowdy Roddy Piper at WrestleMania 8 in
