Baseball was a hobby that my father and I shared together. My father was an all star baseball player in college but never made it to the pros. My father wanted me to become the next Babe Ruth, and I wanted to be Mickey Mantle. My father and I were close and spent a lot of time together watching baseball, talking baseball and playing baseball. Baseball was our lives! Little league baseball was a fun time for me, and every year, I made the all-star team just like my father. My best friend Jason and I played on every team together. This was our last year in Little League and we were going to the State Championship. The final game of our little league career was unforgettable. It was 4 years of fun with my best friend Jason. We always fooled around in practice, however, whenever the game would start, we were serious. Jason would pitch, and I would play second base.
