A detailed Summary of New York


As I slept the night before, I could not believe that I was going to New York

City. I have been many places before but not to New York. I was going for

first time, with my high school band. We were going to play in Maryland

and then going on to New York the next day. My heart beamed with

anticipation. In Maryland, the band played really well. After our

performance, we hopped back on the bus and headed for New York.

When we reached the hotel in New York I was somewhat overwhelmed.

The sight of the buildings that seemed to be able to touch the heavens could
