The bell rang, my fifth period government exam was over, and school was officially out. My last summer of high school had started and I was soon to become a freshman in college. The only thing on my mind was relaxing and having fun with my friends. Their thoughts were the same except this was our last summer together before we went to college. So we knew we had to make the best of our time because change was forcing its weight upon us.
Since the very early parts of elementary school up to the end of high school, I had the same group of good friends. We would always invite each other over for birthdays and other events that involved fun. Of course I had other friends but these were my best friends.
