If a teacher elects to give an entire class an A whether or not they show up, is that his or her prerogative? Or is it dishonest, educationally destructive and morally wrong? I can defiantly say that most people would agree with me when I say it is not only deceptive, it is unethical. A college professor is paid to not only teach but force the students to strive for their grades. If that is not accomplished, the professor has not done his job.
