The Good War The Bad War
World War Two was a good war and a bad war, good because the U.S. rose from a severally crippling depression. Bad because many were killed, injured and devastated by the loss of family, many were lured into the military under false beliefs. When I say “good” I mean that the market of economy in the U.S. was stimulated, something that was much needed. This put many people to work who never had a chance at making a real living before the war. First I will talk about why I thought that the war was a “good war”. Economically many people before the war were having a tough time making ends meet. Once the U.S. entered the war in 1941 the economy swiftly grew and put many people to work. The bracero program which was an American-Mexican program designed to let Mexicans cross the border into the U.S. and let them workjobs such as ship building on the Pacific coast.. Sioux and Navajos were hired by the masses to aid in the construction of military depot
