Without their involvement, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth might not have become so dedicated towards kingship. While reminiscing about being king he relayed his thoughts to his wife, who influenced him to speed the process, by killing Duncan. They're contact resulted in Macbeths and Lady Macbeths heightened awareness of the crown which boosted their ambition and led to Duncan's premature death.
