Macbeth

Out of the three characters responsible for Duncan’s death, I feel the three witches are most guilty. Without their involvement, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth might not have become so dedicated towards kingship. Throughout the play the witches teased and tempted Macbeth with the throne, making him desire coronation by suggesting he would become king. The weird witches knew the outcome of their actions yet still persisted to interact and converse with Macbeth. Using their knowledge of future events and their persistence to speak with Macbeth about becoming king, I believe the three witches purposely caused the death of Duncan, therefore they
