A topic that caught my eye, was the discovery and translation of an ancient Hebrew ossuary. An ossuary is a limestone burial box for bones. This type of burial was used by the Jews between 20 B.C. and A.D.70. Like that of a modern-day headstone, there was an inscription in the Aramaic language, "James, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus". Andre Lemaire, who translated this, said that it is "very probable" the writing refers to Jesus of Nazareth. He dates the ossuary to A.D. 63, just three decades after the crucifixion. Lemaire is a specialist in ancient inscriptions.

Lemaire estimates there could have been as many as 20 James' in the city with brothers named Jesus and fathers named Joseph. I think that watching the news helped me to put the pieces that I read in the article together.
