Huckleberry Finn
1. This book starts on the Mississippi River, where Huck is adopted by anelderly widow. As we start the journey, the widow is attempting to civilize Huckleberry or Huck as he likes to be called. But Huck was too much of a free spirit to be tamed. As we go alone on Huck’s journey, we find out how adventurous Huck really is. For instance, after his dad took him away from the widow, he faked his own death to get away from his dad. As he was running away, he ran into Jim, the widow’s slave. So they both decided to run down the Mississippi River to freedom. But as they were going down the river, things didn’t go as smoothly as they planned. First there was a family that got killed in a feud. Then Jim and Huck took a couple crooks aboard their raft. As the journey winds to an end, Huck runs into his good old friend, Tom Sawyer. And since Jim was not free, Huck and Tom dreamt up a plan to free him. Although their plan didn’t work, it all worked out in the
