The world-wide recognized writer; the frontier breaker literary critic; the eternal heart navigator; and the unstoppable fiction, travel and romantic adventure writer, Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson, was born in the small town of Edinburgh, Scotland, on November 13 in the year of 1850.
