Choke Book Report
1. I was surprised when I read the first few pages of the book. The author starts out by saying “If you are going to red this, don’t bother.” Then for the next few pages he goes on about how you won’t like this book. So you should bother reading it. I was surprised an author would write like that. But it also got me more interested into what the book was like. When I got half way through the book my mind was blown. This is one of the best authors I have read. He’s different then anyone else. And he goes places most people are afraid to go. When I finished with the book my mind was still blown away. Palahniuk has so many twists and turns in his books that it should blow anyone away.2. This book made me go through a lot of emotions. Parts really made me laugh. And others made me just sit there and think. If you want a rollercoaster of mixed emotions then read this one. 3. There are no significant connections… none that I really want to bring up at least. One thing I will mention was that the kid’s mother was crazy in this book. And I had something similar to that with my dad when I was growing up. Nothing that extreme. But he did hav
