Vice and Virtue

Vice and Virtue are two concepts that have been present in society for thousands of years and they are used to tell us what we can and cannot do. These two antagonist concepts come from thousands of years of history, traditions and continuous evolution.

The first and most important enforcer of vice and virtue in the world religion and because of this they can be pinpointed as the ones that have originated today's concept of vice and virtue. Today's concept of vice and virtue is not working for the collective good because we normally think only in ourselves and if it affects other people that have nothing to do with you then you do not care and you go on with it. In addition, the concepts of vice and virtue are terms that are relative.

Today in Colombia, the power structure supposedly based on the concept of a Democratic form of government in which the people elect their governors and the people that will represent them; but this type of power structure does not consider all people. Democracy is based on a voting system for the elections but because not everyone will vote for the same person because no one thinks the same (idols of tribe and cave), then not everybody will be represented by the person that wins the elections. If you look at democracy from that point of view, you will see that it does not consider everyone but because we do not think alike then its impossible to consider everyone because if you take a group of people not everyone will agree with something.
