Lacking confidence, experience and ability in writing and grammar, English is my most feared subject of all. Part reason might be that English is not my mother tongue and during parts of my middle school years, I was out of country, in Pakistan. My parents, some teachers and friends always told me that I was an intelligent individual but when faced with writing, my brain would shutdown and seize to cooperate. To me writing equaled frustration and fear and when it came down to actually writing a paper, I wrote slower than a snail's stride. A two page paper would take me a good 4 hours to write, I usually would have thoughts going on in my head and while I'm pondering on which thought to put down on paper, I would forget what they were and I would have to start thinking all over again.
