Choosing to play football for two years instead of four hurts me with the experience desperately needed to play the game. I really enjoy playing football, but I didn't know that much about it. For example, play calling, who to block, and how to avoid blockers. I played defense and my purpose on the field was to never take myself out of the play, but to position myself to make the tackle. I had a very hard time

seeing the play develop before it got started. That is a football player's instinct, and because of me not playing the four years, I was without it.

The decision that I made not to play football those other two years really puts a burden on me. I will never know what might have happened if I had chose to play all four years. I am not a quitter, nor do I like to think of it as a solution to a problem. Yet I still did. Life is fulfilled by many trials and tribulations that we may face everyday.
