A Society After its Own Heart
We live in a society whose heart in after money. We do not longer care about the poor, the sick, and the needy. We worked long hours and forget we have a family waiting at home. We all want a promotion and never stop to think what you have to compromise for it. We care about having new cars and owning a two-story home. We want to do upgrades to our homes, and perhaps even a hot tub. We care about our 401k. We care about stocks and bonds. We probably care more about the forecast than teaching values to our children. We care about spending long hours in front of a TV.
