Should Personal Point of view be a Obstacle or Asset?

A detailed Summary of Should Personal Point of view be a Obstacle or Asset?

A philosopher once said, "Man prefers to believe what he prefers to be true." Bacon is saying that one's mind tends to cling on to what it wants to listen to, while shunning away other distasteful thoughts opinions and various beliefs. Therefore, a knower's personal point of view should always be considered an obstacle to be overcome.

No one can truly define the word knowledge. However, the theory of knowledge and the studies made around it is called epistemology.
