When I get a sweet tooth, I like something flavorful, yet not too sweet. I like something warm with a little texture. I like something rich that has a hint of butter flavor that really wakes up my taste buds and something that really satisfies my sweet craving. It's at times like this that I have to have my Sock-It-To-Me cake!
The first thing I did before I began making my cake was to wash my hands which is very important. I then started out by preheating the oven to 375 degrees F. I took out the bundt cake pan and a can of shortening and with my washed fingers, I began to coat the entire inside of the pan with the shortening. I shook some flour in the bundt pan and then dusted the pan by shaking the flour around allowing it
I then poured about half of the cake batter into the bundt pan. I sprinkled the streusel filling evenly over the top of the batter until I had used it all. Then I proceeded to pour the remaining batter on top of the streusel filling.
to lightly coat all the inner areas of the pan including the middle tube.
I then began to fix the glaze by combining one cup of confectioners' sugar or powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of milk. I then drizzled the glaze mixture over the cake which added the right touch of sweetness. This delicious delight is best when served with a good cold glass of milk but I didn't bring you any. I hope you enjoy it anyway!
I then took the extra cake mix that I had put in a separate small bowl and added 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 2 tea
