Alice in Wonderland
The novel has two separate settings. The main plot takes place in the amazing and intriguing place of "Wonderland". The second setting is the land of empirical (based on experience) reality to which Alice actually belongs. It’s also the land that she shares with her sister. Alice is the protagonist of the story. She’s an English girl of about seven with an active imagination and a fondness for showing off her knowledge. Cheshire Cat is a grinning cat with the ability to appear and disappear at will. He claims to be mad; nevertheless, he is one of the most reasonable characters in Wonderland. White Rabbit is a nervous character of somewhat. He’s generally is in a hurry, but responsible for leading Alice into Wonderland. Queen of Hearts is a monstrous, violently domineering woman. She seems to hold the ultimate authority in Wonderland, for the reason that she’s the queen of Wonderland. King of Hearts is an incompetent and useless ruler almost entirely dominated by his wife, who has the title of king of Wonderland.
