A topic of confusion has again arisen in our society today, even though it has been around for a while.. It is the topic of evolution, and whether it should be taught in schools, to our children, in the present day. Some educators and scientists have strong opinions, while others are still debating the issue. My name is Christine Hamilton, the principal of High School America. I advocate teaching the evolution theory in schools. Evolution is the theory which states that humans have evolved over time from a one celled organism. I have a strong opinion on the subject of evolution, and I would like to share with you some of the reasons why I feel so strongly about the positive outlook on the theory of evolution.

ere. It tells us why the Earth is the way it is, according to the theory about small single-celled organisms developing into humans, step by step. Evolution is a necessity for children to know, who are learning about the world today. Children need to know how they became humans and how they appeared on the Earth. Without knowledge of the evolution of life, students will not understand where they and their world have come from, and they will lack valuable insight for making decisions about the future of their species and its environment.
Another reason I believe evolution should be taught is so that this valuable information can be passed on from generation to generation. If it is lost now, it will be lost forever. People one million years from now will have no vision or knowledge o
