Basketball has become a very popular sport amongst all types of people ranging from high school athletes to the older generation, and for most, it all began on the neighborhood playground. College basketball players play for a school and try to make a name for themselves, where professionals play because its their job. College basketball has a much different meaning than professional basketball. College players are trying to make a name for themselves and get somewhere in life weather it may be in the NBA or have a well paying job.
