Job Satisfaction
A detailed Summary of Job Satisfaction
To analyze the job satisfaction of people nowadays, I have read an article about the satisfaction of a job and two articles with evidences to show the satisfactory. I have also summarized - what kind of job attributes the employee that they might find attractive or unattractive according to these three articles.
The first article "Job Satisfaction", written by Stephen.P.Robbins, tells about the important factors of how to select a suitable job, which include mentally challenging work, equitable rewards, supportive working condition, and supportive colleagues. Now, discuss the factors one by one. Then, analyze it with the other two articles.
Mentally Challenging Work æ a right amount challenging work is important. It is because too much challenging work will cause the employees frustrate and the feelings of failure. Equitable rewards æ reasonable rewards to be given are necessary but it does not mean to pay the employees a high salary inorder to satisfy their needs, since not everyone seeks for money but the results of their work.
Supportive working condition æ employees also seek for a good condition of working environment for both comfort and facilitating, so that they can work their best under a good environmental condition

Now, he work as a journalist, he was busy with his work, but he really feels that it is a lot better then before. Referred back to the excerpt from Stephen P. Robbins. Although a high salary is given to Tomoyuki, but according to the factor of equitable rewards, he might be one of those employees who is looking for a good result from their outcome work, beyond his basic field and wanted to gain experiences. Even though there were a lot of good facilities provide in Tomoyuki's working place, but excessive work-load with too much unchallenging works make him feels too suffocating.
. Lastly, supportive colleagues æ a majority of employees need social interaction. Making good friends with colleagues can lead to a job satisfaction. The behavior of the boss is also a main cause of it. If the boss can get along well with the employees, the employees will be more eager to finish their job well.
In conclusion, a comparison of the last two articles, showed clearly why Lederman likes his job but Tomoyuki does not. Lederman likes his job so much because of the challenging science work and he is really interested in science. But on the other hand, Tomoyuki, hates his job and even quit it after working a year only. This shows that, too much work with no challenging, poor working condition and no equitable rewards caused him does not have any more interest with his work. Therefore, inorder to find a job which will be suitable and satisfy for yours
